El Paradise Silanguin is blessed with lots of Agoho tree background that provide shades to campers. These trees came from the Mt. Pinatubo eruption that sprayed seeds to the to the mountain tops and down to the shores in the ealry 90's. Today, the trees and the graying white sands are the only remains of that historic volcanic debris.
Since the cove is protected from the Amihan and Habagat waves, Silanguin cove can provide safe haven for seafarers and fishermen during windy season, except when there is a tropical storm in Luzon. Traveling from August to November is a bit choppy going to Silanguin due to Habagat or southwestern wind. On the other hand, the inner cove, where the beach camp is located, is calm most of the time.
